Smart Waste Technologies is participating in one of the key infrastructure projects in the Lower Silesia region. The project entitled “Reconstruction and Expansion of Technical Infrastructure Facilities for Wastewater Treatment and Discharge to External Receivers” is being carried out by Budimex S.A. for the Municipality of Lubin.
The investment involves a comprehensive modernization and expansion of the wastewater treatment plant aimed at increasing operational efficiency, improving operational safety, and adapting the infrastructure to the growing needs of the city and surrounding industrial areas. The project includes, among others, the construction of new technological facilities, modernization of the existing infrastructure, and implementation of advanced technologies for water and wastewater management.
Smart Waste Technologies is responsible for the delivery of equipment and technological works carried out within the plant’s key process units, including mechanical treatment as well as sludge and biogas management systems. The scope of work performed by the company constitutes an important part of the overall modernization process and is intended to ensure high efficiency and reliable operation of the facility.
The project is being implemented for the Municipality of Lubin, a self-governing local authority in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship with a population of over 66,000 residents. The modernization of the wastewater treatment plant represents an important step towards the further development of local environmental infrastructure and increasing the capacity to serve rapidly developing urban and industrial areas.
The implementation of this investment confirms Smart Waste Technologies’ expertise in infrastructure projects for the water and wastewater sector and highlights the company’s involvement in some of the largest environmental projects currently being carried out in Poland.
