Our Story
Our roots go back to 1983, when engineer Krzysztof Horodecki founded the EKOLOG – design and engineering company. What began as a small team of passionate specialists has steadily evolved over the years – growing in size, expanding its scope, and successfully delivering increasingly complex environmental protection projects. Today, the legacy of EKOLOG is carried forward by Smart Waste Technologies, established in 1994. After acquiring EKOLOG and its achievements, our team was strengthened with experienced engineers and managers from both Poland and abroad.
We are a company that combines over 42 years of expertise with a modern, innovative approach to environmental engineering and technology. Our seasoned professionals are the backbone of our operations, sharing their knowledge with the next generation of engineers and managers – building a company rooted in history but focused on the future.

- Water and wastewater management, including sludge handling and biogas production,

As an Environmental Technology Manufacturer, we offer complete systems, technological lines, as well as individual units for the construction or modernization of environmental protection facilities. Our portfolio includes equipment for wastewater treatment plants—both in-house manufactured and from world-class suppliers, for whom we serve as an official distributor.

Every project is a unique challenge for us. We begin with consulting, a thorough analysis of technical and technological requirements, and an open dialogue with both the Client and the end User. During the design and construction phases, we utilize advanced 2D and 3D software. Our project managers maintain continuous contact with the Client throughout every stage of implementation. Attention to detail is our standard.
