Processes taking place in gravity thickeners and digesters are supported, among others, by sludge mixing, scraping from the tank bottom into the sludge hopper, and removal of floating materials (scum). For this purpose, we provide a range of purpose-designed mixers.

Our system includes:
• process design documentation,
• low-speed stainless steel paddle mixers,
• sludge scraping rakes,
• supernatant removal systems,
• decanters,
• telescopic weirs,
• screw-disc sludge thickening units.

The stainless steel paddle mixers can be mounted directly onto the reinforced concrete platform forming part of the thickener structure or supplied with a dedicated supporting frame.

Optional equipment includes sludge sweeping systems for directing sludge toward the tank center, scum removal systems, and hermetic covers.

As part of the equipment or complete system selection process, we offer an analysis of the current and forecasted conditions at the facility, along with preparation of a comprehensive process design for the sludge thickening system.
