Smart Waste Technologies continues work on the expansion of the wastewater treatment plant in Suchań, carried out as part of a consortium with PTB NICKEL TECHNOLOGIA Sp. z o.o., which is responsible for the civil engineering scope. Smart Waste Technologies is delivering and installing the complete technological system, including electrical works as well as the instrumentation and control systems.
The project involves expanding the Suchań wastewater treatment plant with an additional bioblock reactor with a capacity of 150 m³/day, which includes:
- construction of a new foundation slab for the B150 reactor and for the sludge stabilization chamber together with dedicated technical rooms,
- installation of a new biological reactor equipped with a retention chamber, nitrification chamber and secondary clarifiers,
- installation of an aerobic excess sludge stabilization chamber,
- construction of new technical rooms for the expanded treatment line,
- installation of key technological equipment such as blowers, pumps and mixers,
- construction of a technological pumping station with stabilized sludge pumps,
- installation of inter-facility pipelines, networks and accompanying infrastructure,
- expansion of the instrumentation, automation and process visualization system, as well as the overall technological control system,
- modernization of the external site lighting.
As part of the project, Smart Waste Technologies has also completed the prefabrication and delivery of major technological components, including the reactor tank and the secondary clarifier tanks, which form the core of the upgraded treatment process.
The task also covers a comprehensive scope of installation works, including:
- external and internal technological installations,
- electrical installations and I&C systems,
- thermal enclosure and the technical building,
- the reactor foundation slab,
- power supply for the RT1 technological switchgear,
- external area lighting.
All works are progressing in line with the design assumptions and in close cooperation with the Investor. The expanded installation will increase the plant’s treatment efficiency, enhance process stability and improve operational capacity to meet the growing needs of the Suchań municipality.
We encourage you to follow future updates on Smart Waste Technologies’ ongoing projects and to explore our offer of advanced technological solutions for wastewater treatment facilities.
