From October 14-16, 2025, Smart Waste Technologies took part in the international IFAT India 2025 trade fair at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai. This is one of Asia’s leading industry events, bringing together experts and representatives from the water, wastewater, waste management, and recycling sectors from around the world.
During the fair, we showcased products and solutions from Smart Waste Technologies in the field of biogas management, including a high-efficiency biogas production technology that uses sewage sludge mixed with other substrates and waste. Our solutions attracted strong interest from attendees, reflecting the growing global demand for effective waste utilization and energy recovery.
Throughout the event, we held numerous meetings with representatives from the food, meat, and municipal industries – both from India and other regions, spanning Australia to the United States. The discussions focused on innovative waste-to-energy technologies, recent changes in market regulations, and potential collaboration on future projects.
We would like to thank everyone who visited our booth and took the time to meet with us. We believe the connections made during IFAT India will lead to valuable partnerships and projects in the future.
Despite a busy schedule, we also managed to take in the atmosphere of Mumbai – a city full of energy, contrasts, and inspiration. Participating in IFAT India 2025 represents another important step for Smart Waste Technologies in expanding international cooperation and promoting Polish engineering on the global stage.
