We are proud to join the global Clean Up the World 2025 campaign – an international movement that, for more than three decades, has brought together millions of volunteers in over 120 countries to take action for the environment. Each year, on the third weekend of September, local communities, institutions, businesses and individuals unite to clean up, educate and inspire responsible stewardship of our planet’s resources.
At Smart Waste Technologies, we believe real change begins with local initiatives and responsible decisions. As an environmental engineering company, we feel a particular obligation to support pro-environmental efforts. This year we have implemented several activities aligned with the Clean Up the World initiative:
• Collection of paper waste and small electronics at our headquarters – We set up special containers for employees to deposit unwanted paper waste and used electronics. We then handle their sorting and delivery to the appropriate collection points.
• “Flowers for E-Waste” – We joined a nationwide initiative run by Castorama. Thanks to the commitment of our Director of Administration and Development, the batteries and small electronic devices collected at our company were delivered to the local Castorama store. In this way, we sought to promote responsible e-waste disposal and help raise awareness of this initiative in our city.
Clean Up the World is more than a one-off campaign – it’s a call for everyday conscious choices. At Smart Waste Technologies, we believe that caring for the planet is not an obligation but a privilege. This year’s edition of Clean Up the World is another step on our path towards sustainable development and an inspiration for further pro-environmental action.
